For this type of carpet we will clean it using a method known as Hot Water Extraction, more commonly known as steam cleaning. This is our most used method as it is offers the deepest clean. Hot Water Extraction is also wonderful for removing those tough to budge stains.
Delicate/Natural Fibre
We can also clean other delicate fabrics. For fabrics that cannot withstand the pressurised method of Hot Water Extraction we have a variety of other methods we can use. The method that your cleaner will use will be determined at the time of your booking by the technician after they examine your carpet.
3 Steps to Hot Water Extraction
Step 1: Pretreat
Before your technician will start the cleaning process they will ensure that your carpet is already clean from dust. The technician will do this by vacuuming the carpet. They will then see if your carpet has any stains and determine the appropriate product to use. Regardless of the type of stain, your technician will try to remove it. If our deep clean cannot shift it, nothing can! When booking our services for this type of clean, please note that some stains are impossible to move as they can damage the fabric too much to be removed completely. Although, the stains may be able to be faded.
Step 2: Hot Water Extraction
The reason why we offer this as our most used method is because it is the most efficient way of cleaning carpets. It is sure to bring your carpet back to live, regardless of how old or spots it has. The hot water extraction works by using a detergent that has been mixed with pressurised water. With the added suction of the nozzle, it works at removing all of the moisture back from the carpet along with any dirt. Throughout the cleaning procedure your carpet will be 95% dried from all water, leaving you with a perfectly clean carpet. There is absolutely no risk of damage to your carpet.
Step 3: Leave it to Dry
Once your hot water extraction (steam clean) has been completed it is normal for your carpet to feel slightly damp. It will need approximately up to 6 hours (sometimes only 3 hours) to dry. We also bring along an air-mover with our equipment and this will speed up the drying process significantly.
Other Carpet Cleaning Methods Suitable for delicate/natural Fibre
Step 1: Powder
Your technician will cover your carpet with an even spread of low moisture powder.
Step 2: Brush
This powder is then brushed into your carpet using a rotating brush. There is no risk of damage to your carpet as the speed runs at a reasonable rate. Once the powder has been massaged into the carpet all of the dirt and stains will attach to the powder.
Step 3: Vacuum
The technician will then remove the powder by using a vacuum. A powder vacuum will be used to ensure that all of the powder has been removed. Your carpet will now have a new lease of life put back into it.
Stain Protection
To further protect your carpet from any stains in future your cleaning technician will use a stain repellent during the procedure. This will protect your newly cleaned carpet and will help to extend its life. This stain repellent product will be applied directly onto your carpet and can take some time for it to dry out. It is important for you to let your carpet dry itself so that this added protection is completed. The repellent will also ensure for a quicker clean next time as the stain protection will keep it looking better, for longer.
Insecticide Treatment
If you would like your technician to treat your carpet against any bugs that may find there way onto your carpet, just let us know and we will get that looked at for you. Our services are here not only to provide you with a fresher look but to ensure that your carpet is truly clean from any dirt and bugs.
This is dependent on a range of factors such as the condition of the carpet. But typically, a standard sized room will take around 30 minutes for a deep clean.
If there are a few small pieces of furniture in the way then your technician will happily move those out of the way. However, your technician will not move around any heavy pieces of furniture such as sofas. Please ensure that you remove all big items from your room in advance to your booking.
While a lot of stains can be easily removed, unfortunately not all can. Some stains damage the fabric that leaves a permanent stain that simply will not budge. But our deep cleaning process is excellent for the toughest of stains so if we cannot remove it, nothing will.

Typically, a carpet that is made from synthetic fibres will dry on their own within 3 to 6 hours. Other materials like wool will take around 4 to 8 hours. The technician will do all that they can to shorten the drying out process by using an air-mover. The air-mover will speed up the drying process considerably.
